Fingerprinting and Background Checks

Amberley residents who need fingerprints taken for employment purposes can have this done at no charge by the Amberley Village Public Safety Department. The hours for employment fingerprinting are Mondays from 3-5 p.m. Come to the Public Safety window at the Amberley Village Municipal Building to obtain this service.

Criminal background checks are performed only at the Hamilton County Justice Center Identification Bureau. Amberley Village is not permitted to perform these checks. Business hours for the Hamilton County Justice Center Identification Bureau are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is a $4.00 charge for the report. Fingerprints can be taken there for an additional fee. Contact the Hamilton County Justice Center Identification Bureau at 946-6230 for additional information.
